A SPECIAL NOTE FROM PAULETTE AND LEE FOR A WORRY FREE VACATION!

Since we frequently seem to be the ones folks come to after having some difficulty with a vacation home rented elsewhere, we thought we’d talk a little about TRUST VS. BUYER BEWARE! 

We’re unique because of the trust others place in us.  We’re very proud that many, many of our bookings are return guests and believe that there is no better a recommendation.  Most importantly, we personally own all our homes and will always be here.   

You may not know that the recent economic difficulties are directly impacting vacation home renters.  Many so called “investors,” who also happen to be non-residents, are letting their vacation rentals go into foreclosure or otherwise not paying management companies to properly maintain their home. You would think that homes going into foreclosure would simply stop bookings and return any money, but not necessarily so!  We get many requests from folks who are told at the last moment that the home they booked and paid for is no longer available, and, because of financial difficulty of the non-resident owner, they can’t seem to get funds returned.  Or, just as bad, folks arrive to find the home is about to be foreclosed, and the owner or management company has simply not maintained the property or even had it properly cleaned.   Paulette and I have actually even seen homes which have “Bank Owned” signs on them, still advertising on the net, and taking deposits on an almost empty and certainly ill maintained home!  With us, you can be certain because we OWN the homes, and live here!  

We are unique!  Again, we live here, are always personally available (24/7/365), and absolutely assure quality and timely personal assistance.  You won’t have to deal with a management company or send your vacation dollars to some far off destination or person you will never see, let alone trust a not so well paid employee of a management company to make sure you vacation needs are met, and met in a timely fashion.  As an example of the trust you can place in us, the rental fee can be paid on arrival after you have actually toured the home and are completely satisfied!

• Our homes are meticulously cleaned.  Our cleaning folks have been with us for 10 years, get paid very well, are really experts at what they do, and they do an outstanding job!  How many management companies do you know whose temporary folks clean UNDER the refrigerator, on top of plant shelves, and, in general, clean the home as if it were their own…and…we are there to make sure.
• We cater to families.  If two families are staying together, or if the in-laws are enjoying the trip, you’ll be pleased with knowing that we have homes with identical master suites both of which overlook the pool/spa and have identical huge master baths!  Two families can have identical accommodations. No more uncomfortable moments debating who gets what room since everyone will be pleased!
• All of our homes have “kids’ apartments:” two bedrooms with an adjoining TV/play/game area all decorated in Disney themes.  The kids can have a place of there own….and so can you!
• If you leave something behind, we return it.
• All the “stuff” in our homes actually works (unlike many others) and if something goes wrong during your stay, we’ll fix is ASAP, not “in a few days”.
• If you get lost, have any difficulty, or simply need information, just call and we’ll help.
• We turn the pool heat on BEFORE you arrive so that it will be warm upon arrival.  Others turn it on when you arrive and it may take two days before you’re comfortable enough to swim.
• We attempt to maintain our heated pools at 86 – 88 degrees, and, with the flip of a switch, you can raise the spa to 104!  Many management companies maintain a “heated” pool at 80 degrees (as does Disney), and keep the spa at the same temperature!
• Our kitchen/dining areas are certainly large enough for all your Mousekateers to enjoy meal time together.

• You can actually pay after you’ve seen the home and are satisfied.  Where else can you find that?
• We’ll send you email addresses of previous renters so you can check us out with them!
• Beware of folks who provide the actual address of the home.  While many folks would feel uncomfortable not having the actual address of the home ahead of time, think of this: How would you like to stay in a vacation home when the entire world knows you’re vacationing and probably will be at Disney most of the time.  Not a real good idea.  We protect the privacy and security of our current and future guest by providing general area information, not the actual address.  We do assure you however, that the exact home you book is the exact home you’ll enjoy.
